AML Policy
This policy sets out the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures applied on the VegasHero platform for UK players. Our aim is to protect customers, payment partners, and the integrity of the UK financial system in line with applicable legislation and Gambling Commission expectations.
Objectives and scope at Vegas Hero Casino
This policy covers registration, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, and every transfer of value on a player account. It applies to all UK customers who use vegashero-official.uk or the official mobile app.
Funds of criminal origin are refused. The platform must not be used to conceal, transfer, or launder money obtained unlawfully. VegasHero operates in accordance with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017, and relevant UK Gambling Commission licence conditions.
Every user must provide accurate details and cooperate with requests from the compliance team. Failure to do so may result in account restrictions, suspension, or closure.
Preventive AML measures at VegasHero
Our programme is built on preventive controls, behavioural analysis, and rapid response to anomalies:
- Customer identification at registration and verification before significant withdrawals.
- Checks that payment channels, account holders, and player profiles are consistent.
- Monitoring of large deposits, rapid fund turnover, or atypical betting patterns.
- Manual review of accounts flagged by automated systems or customer support.
- Suspension or closure of profiles where money laundering or fraud risk is identified.
- Secure retention of transaction logs and reporting to UK authorities where required by law.
Due diligence at VegasHero
Identity, source of funds, and transactional behaviour may be verified before or after registration, particularly at the point of withdrawal. Standard Customer Due Diligence (CDD) applies to all UK players; Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) may be triggered for higher-risk profiles, large transactions, or politically exposed persons (PEPs).
Additional documents, clarification on income sources, or explanations for recurring transactions may be requested. Accepted proof typically includes a valid passport, driving licence, or national identity card, together with a recent utility bill or bank statement in the account holder's name.
Failure to cooperate may lead to account suspension and return of funds in accordance with current procedures and UK regulatory requirements.
Transaction monitoring at VegasHero
Automated and manual controls flag unusual deposits, rapid deposit-to-withdrawal cycles, linked accounts on the same device or payment channel, and use of e-wallets or cards not registered to the account holder.
Suspicious patterns are prioritised and escalated to the AML team for further analysis. Thresholds are reviewed regularly to reflect UK market conditions and regulatory guidance.
Where activity appears inconsistent with a player's known profile or stated source of funds, the operator may request supporting documentation or temporarily restrict withdrawals pending review.
Reporting and cooperation at VegasHero
Suspicious activity is escalated internally and, where required, reported to the National Crime Agency (NCA) via a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR). Under UK law, the subject of a SAR is not normally informed while an investigation is ongoing, as disclosure could prejudice enquiries.
The operator cooperates with legitimate requests from law enforcement, the UK Gambling Commission, HMRC, and other competent supervisory bodies. Records relevant to AML compliance are retained for the period required under UK regulations.
Staff receive regular training on recognising and reporting suspicious behaviour, including indicators common in online gambling environments.

The anti-money laundering policy works alongside identity verification: documents, proof of address, and payment-method checks support withdrawal authorisation and broader AML controls.
A fully verified profile can reduce review times, but does not remove the possibility of additional checks if behaviour changes or risk indicators emerge.
